War in Iraq "absolutely" worth it: Bush:
[World News]: Washington, Jan 13 :
US President George W Bush has said the war in Iraq, which ousted
Saddam Hussain and cost the lives of some 1,300 American military
personnel and billions of dollars, was "absolutely" worth it even
though no weapons of mass destruction have been found.
Bush's comments came as the White House said the US had quietly halted
its search for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in Iraq, the key
reason for going to war.
"Well, like you, I felt like we'd find weapons of mass destruction,"
Bush said, according to excerpts released from an ABC television
interview.
"Or like many, many here in the United States, many around the world,
the UN thought he had weapons of mass destruction, and so, therefore,
one, we need to find out what went wrong in the intelligence
gathering. Saddam was dangerous. And .. The world was safer without
him in power," Bush made his comments on the ABC News 20/20 programme.
Asked whether it was worth it to invade Iraq even without WMD found,
Bush replied, "Oh, absolutely."

I'll believe that only when his twin alcoholic daughters
are riding across Iraq in an unarmoured humvee.

What if the Billion$ spent on the Iraq War were spent on humanitarian
aid to the Muslim
World with no strings. No attempt at Empire. Just Help instead of the
murder.
What would the World think of the "coalition" then?
And what has the War brought the u.s.? Anyone think the Americans are
safer? At home or abroad?

Since Falluga (spelling?) the death rate has slowed down dramatically.
I suspect the war will be won in a few short months.

Attacks in Fallujah slowed, but not in Sadr City, Mosul, ad nauseam.
This isn't the sort of war anyone wins.
Bush may cut and run, declaring victory, but that will be just another
abject failure covered by another infamous lie. The recent statements that
elections will constitue "a major victory" are the preparation for that
fresh outrage.

The tribe of the right are again reduced to pounding their puny chests and
bellowing.
Another Iraqi official was slain today, and half the political parties and
all the remaining independents have dropped out of the race.
Around 30-35% of the population lives in those "few areas" that have been
declared too insecure for voting.
This is gonna be just like Florida, except bloodier.
Bush is calling elections "a major victory."
He probably thinks Andy Coulter is a girl with adenoids "down there.".
