No wonder the Grand Ole Spenders© want to cut Medicare and Medicaid. |
They're attempting to cut social programs for the elderly and indigent while
giving themselves tax cuts and increasing military spending for an already
bloated military.

Overall spending has skyrocketed under Bush, GOP

WASHINGTON - President Bush renewed his call for spending restraint when he
sent his proposed fiscal 2007 budget to Congress on Monday, but one thing is
clear: The era of big government is far from over.
Over the past five years, Bush and the Republican-led Congress have been far
better at expanding government than shrinking it. Spending for national
security and government entitlement programs has skyrocketed, without
offsetting cuts in other programs.

The United Statesof Halliburton: a government of Halliburton, by
Halliburton, and for Halliburton.
(The next amendment to the Constitution should include the phrase "no-bid
contract," either praising them or banning them, you take your pick.)

The real danger to the future of humanity is the preference
for surrendering to fear, superstition, and faith
in absolutist belief systems, and so to submit to these
willingly and to the control of those demagogues who
make use of these, rather than preferring
to reason with one's own mind.

Hey that is the official party line of the liberal party of Ontario Canada.
Well almost they spend the money needed to defend democracy, on malicious
