None Of Romney's Sons Have Served In Military
Candidate Argues For Robust Military
BOSTON --
While Republican Mitt Romney is hawkish on the presidential campaign
trail, none of his five sons ever served in the military.
At least one of them said it troubles him.
Josh Romney, 31, the former governor's middle son, said he feels
guilty having not served.
He made the comments during last Sunday's profile on his father
broadcast on CBS' "60 Minutes."
All five of the Romney sons, who range in age from 26 to 37, served
two years as church missionaries, a practice within their Mormon
faith.
Mitt Romney served as a Mormon missionary, which enabled him to
receive a draft deferment from the Vietnam War.
On the stump, Romney argues for a robust national defense.
He said he wants to add 100,000 troops to the U.S. military and commit
4 percent of the gross domestic product to funding the armed forces.

Hillary Clinton's daughter is not in the army
Hillary Clinton did not serve in the military.
Black Osama did not serve in the military.
John Edwards did not serve in the military.
Are they all "chickenhawks", too?
