Clashes erupt in northern Iraqi city of Mosul
MOSUL, Iraq, Nov 10 (Reuters)
Gunfire and explosions echoed across the northern Iraqi city of Mosul
today, but it was not immediately clear who the combatants were.
A Reuters reporter said residents were staying indoors as small-arms
fire rattled and blasts from rocket-propelled grenades shook the city.
U.S. helicopters flew overhead.
