The last Really Important political endorsement that Albert Gore, one-time
vice-president, made was when he endorsed Mike Dukakis as the Democrat
Party's presidential candidate, and Al's Big Announcement today has the
Democrats very, very excited! Oh, there is joy in DNC headquarters
tonight! Yes indeedy!
Besides endorsing the pro-abortion Good Doctor from Vermont, our one-time
vice-president also pointed out that (in Gore's brilliant political opinion)
only His Pal Dean had "gotten it right" concerning the war in Iraq. All
the other 8 Democrat presidential hopeful had "gotten it wrong", since they
supported the idea of America daring to go to war in Iraq to fight
terrorists. Gore and Dean realize that the Best Policy for America would
have been to stay home, get down on one's knees and pray (or curl up in a
simple yet elegant fetal position if one is not the praying kind) and beg
the Good Lord (or one's navel if one is not the believe-God-exists kind)
that the Mean Terrorist not hurt us any more.
Gore and Dean are "on a roll!" and Gore is "excited!", even if Dean pretty
much looked like a stiff, drugged scarecrow while Gore was droning on and on
in his endorsement of The Next Guy Since Mike Dukakis. You can see the
