Noticeable Drop In Terrorist Strikes. Has Al Zarqawi Been Captured In Iraq? |
Over the last several days there has been an apparent decline in the number
of insurgent attacks in Iraq, particularly against American forces.
Is this an indication of new U.S. military tactics and technology,
particularly
the employment of the secret "Prophet Technology" in surveillance earlier
described
by Israel's DEBKA/file, or has the jihadist leader al Zarqawi been put hors
de combat
as mentioned in the following article. Whatever, the guerrilla insurgency in
Iraq appears
to be losing much of its effectiveness in these last days leading up to the
elections.

The other possibility is they are busy preparing for a big election
day offensive, the calm before the storm.
For maximal media exposure, they have to kill large numbers of people
in a short time.
At this point Bush would like to have his casualties spread out evenly
over time to avoid media exposure.

Agreed, the election is going to be their Christmas, New Years, Easter, Mardi
Gras, and July 4th, and Groundhog day all rolled into one big bloody blast.
Also, you gotta wonder about how fucked up the war is when people start to find
positive trends when a day r two go by without Americans being killed, and call
it a "Noticeable Drop".
By the way, there is a10-minute video posted which highlights this "Noticeable
Drop". It involved two former US-paid Iraqi truck drivers, some swords, severed
heads, and a public chanting of "Allah Akbar".
Don't watch it if you have anything remotely like a human soul.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of
the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to
drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a
parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can
always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have
to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for
lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
