Oh Dear. More Evidence Surfacing about Saddam's Connection to Al Qaeda |

Iraq How-to Manual Directed Arab Military Operatives In Afghanistan
Thursday, July 06, 2006
Ray Robison
An Arab regime, possibly Iraq, supplied how-to manuals for Arab
operatives working throughout Afghanistan before 9/11, and provided military
assistance to the Taliban and Al Qaeda.
That's the most likely conclusion drawn from an apparent training
manual unearthed in captured Iraqi government computer files translated and
analyzed exclusively for Fox News, and made public for the first time.
The document, apparently written before the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist
attacks, could bolster the Bush administration's contention that Saddam
Hussein was providing support for Islamic extremists who were plotting
against America.

Pretending that you don't smell the burning Jews isn't an excuse
for the defense of war crime atrocities against humanity. "I
didn't know" is no longer an excuse in the age of the Internet.

It's important for the paranoid to believe that EVERYBODY is in it all
together, plotting your downfall. To imply that they might be
squabbling among themselves would imply that the paranoiac is not
really the center of the universe.

Jim Lake said today that there were ties between 911 and Saddam. This was
aired unchallenged on Fox so I know it had to be true. Neither Jim Lake of
Fox would lie about anything.

Hey Spit.
Glad to see you back from Afghanistan again. How are the rest of the troops
doing over there. How did you enjoy your TDY this time? You must have
brought your wife with you this time as she has not been heard from while
you were gone.
Everyone has been worried about you. We were all sure that you were helping
the troops kill the bad terrorists like the other times you were there.
Everyone is waiting to hear about your adventures.

As a leftist and a foe of the Iraq War, I think it's remotely possible
that Saddam might have tried to influence the Taliban with training
manuals. I mean why not? -- Saddam was an opportunist and a thug. No
real question about it.
I believe if you search the Interent with Google, though, you should
unearth evidence that the CIA certainly did produce manuals on "Jihad"
for Afghan children that the Islamic mujahadeen used in training people
to fight the Russians in the 1980s.
I believe you'll also find that once the Russians were defeated in
Afghanistan, and the various warlords were also kicked out by the
Taliban, the same CIA-produced textbooks on "jihad" were used by the
Taliban to train school children to wage holy war against ...us.
So if Saddam actually helped the Taliban to recruit and train people
for holy war -- a fact that seems to be unproven -- he sure wasn't
alone.
The CIA under the direction of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush - the
present George Bush's daddy -- was doing the same thing.
So if George W. was right in invading Baghdad, should he also have
invaded Washington?

This just in:
US was providing support for Islamic extremists who were plotting
against America
''The Afghan resistance was backed by the intelligence services of the
United States and Saudi Arabia...[and this camp represents] the last
word in NATO engineering techniques.... Some of the same warriors who
fought the Soviets with the CIA's help are now fighting under Mr. bin
Laden's banner." (NY Times, 8/24/98, p.A1 & A7)

Actually though they recieved wepons from the US, the Arabs would not
work with CIA operatives. Those that did later became the Northen
Alliance who now rules Afganistain.
