This is from another group:

I do agree with you that Israel's reaction is a TINY bit on the
extreme side, but I also can understand THEIR frustration. *THEY* are
the ones that have been on the sharp end of the stick for a good many
years now, and that Hezbollah felt free to cross the border and
kidnap two soldiers is an indictment of ISLAM, not Israel.

I know, but they just wiped out Lebanon's entire infrastructure.
They've been doing collective punishment for so long now, punishing
good people for what bad people did. That's what Hitler did too, and
for years they've been doing it!
It makes more and more enemies.
Besides, as a libertarian, I no longer even believe in the idea of a
religious state like Israel. All it does is act as a magnet for those
who wish to destroy them. And when those radicals get nukes some day,
because the UN won't stop Iran, well it will be curtains for Israel.
They claimed after WWII that it was necessary because of the Holocaust,
but Jews are all over the world and the best way to ensure that they
survive is to make sure they're all armed, wherever they live. They
should "never again" allow anyone to disarm them!

Did they?
And leaving a standing army like Hizbolla with it would mean what?

Godwin's law so soon for you.

It makes more and more enemies.

Ah, no liberty for people of faith, eh MEl?
You fascist toadie.

All it does is act as a magnet for those
who wish to destroy them.

Well then, the bad behavior is all ISRAEL's fault, isn't it?

And when those radicals get nukes some day,

I don't think so you hysterical ninny.

Yet you'd end their homeland, you're fucking INSANE!
