Lately, folks are upset because they think the government is ignoring their
wishes to kick all the illegal aliens out, close the borders, control the
borders, and then talk about immigration reform.
Well, we are just going to get a lesson in representative democracy, better
known as institutional bribery.
Remember when they told us in school that the US was run by "government of
and by and for the people?"
How many still believe that?
Everyone knows the congress and politicians across the spectrum have never
really been into representing their so-called constituency. We're just the
slobs that enable them to pursue their scam through the so-called electoral
process.
The only thing we have that they value at all is the things they call votes.
They need them to get where they have been paid to go, and do what they have
been paid to do. Constituents are just a pain in the ***** that they have to
rub for appearance sake.
If they can figure out how to make our voting process anachronistic, they
will have arrived in politician heaven and the sky's the limit.
Politics and politicians have always been about representing political
campaign donors, or I should say, the "almighty campaign donors." . There
are loads of insignificant, powerless, inconsequential campaign donors.
Politicians have been ignoring inconsequential folks since politics was
invented.
Face it folks. If you don't have the big bucks to toss into the political
process, you ain't gonna have any say about anything, and your political
representatives will just continue to ignore you. If you cannot afford to
bribe them to listen to you, they won't even know you are alive.
Funny how if you try to bribe a local cop, or a federal officer, they will
throw you in jail and mark you as a criminal. Politicians have more rights
than you.
Currently, at the federal level, ignoring stops at about $50,000 and
attention goes up as the figure approaches $250,000. Things go down a bit at
the state and local levels, but the more zeroes the amounts end in, the more
attention you will get there, too.
Next time your oh, so attractive candidate, or, more likely, the candidate's
paid associates come around asking you for your money, you should remember
that they really don't need you, or your tiny donation. That is all a scam
designed to make you think you are somebody.
If they've got your name, address, or an email address, you are going to get
touched. It is inevitable.
Dummys are always getting hit on by the big scam organizations. For example:
the Democratic National Committee always sends out scam email insinuating
that they need your cash to help them do this or do that. They got
profession al beggars writing their pleas for your cash that would put Hindu
holy men to shame.
Remember this when your candidates of choice come to you asking for
money-unless you give enough money to be really noticed, all they do is put
your name on yet another mailing list.
If you are stupid enough to give enough to be promoted out of the beginner
class, they start playing you like a fish on a line. No one will pay any
attention to what you want, but you will enjoy the delusion that they hear
every word.
Remember. No matter how much you cough up, there are always bigger fish that
will out-bid you.
All of this campaign financing stuff is far, far beyond the pocket books or
comprehension of the average American voter.
However, the pols continue to play the suckers the whole time knowing
exactly who and what they are going to represent once the voters are stupid
enough to buy into their scams.
America gets what it pays for.
