Dave J

In a short sentence here, Dave provides a profound insight into the
workings of the present day liberal mind and gives me an opportunity to
contrast it with the neocon mind.
Dave believes he has made an error however minor in providing a somewhat
less than an ideal post, so even though his intention is perfectly
honest, he apologizes and corrects himself. Liberals are like that.
Now contrast that with the rightwing neocon idiots who will justify to
the Nth degree their killing of tens of thousands of innocent people for
no good reason, and continue to clamor for actions that will kill many,
many more. At times, they will even jest and snicker amongst themselves
about all the suffering they've caused.
The differences in thinking between the two groups is so great that if
either one wanted to get insights into the other, they would have to be
able to step outside of their present understandings. Only a liberal
mind that is open and free is capable of understanding views so much
different than itself, even if those views are so loathsome as the
fearfilled rightwing views actually are.
Understanding is not agreeing with however. A liberal mind would NEVER
choose to live in a dark scary closet where phantoms are real -Plato's
shadowy cave.

They also archive the KGO stream for 24 hours, so those of us who
aren't night owls out on the west coast here can catch Ray's show after
the fact.

I like Ray. Actually, the whole KGO lineup is great. You get some
common sense folks on throughout the day...not the ravings one gets from
Clear Channel.
