Palestinian support for suicide bombers |
In 1997, 27% of Palestinians supported suicide bombers.
In 2004 its 70%.
A sign of desperation? Or a sign of Sharon?

It's a sign of Arafat who publicly condemns the bombers but secretly praises
the terrorists to consolidate his leadership.

However we must be very careful when quoting polls. Where did you get these

Have a link?
You do comprehend the bombers were taking a break in 1997, don't you?
Does it show the percentage in 2000, when the bombings started?
How about when Sharon was elected, since that was after the bombings
began in 2000.
How about an analysis of Palestinian and Arab media that spew the
Protocols as if they're facts and brainwash kids, rather than your
typically simplistic excuse that lacks any backing?

Because Israel traditional method of making room for new people is to take a
bit of land from a neighbor.
Israel is 300 percent larger than when it stated. It took most of that land in
1967 when they started a war with Egypt.

If it were World War 2, and the Jews would have been Hitler-Germans
(he, what a striking comparison!), then those Palestinians would
correctly so be called freedom fighters. In the Netherlands, we honour
one day a year the freedom fighters that in WW@ fighted the Nazi's.
So will the people, living in a peaceful Middle East in 25 years
celebrate these freedom fighters that some people, for reasons not

If it were World War 2, and the Jews would have been Hitler-Germans
(he, what a striking comparison!), then those Palestinians would
correctly so be called freedom fighters. In the Netherlands, we honour
one day a year the freedom fighters that in WW@ fighted the Nazi's.
So will the people, living in a peaceful Middle East in 25 years
celebrate these freedom fighters that some people, for reasons not
clear to me, call terrorists.
Jo
Targeting innocent civilians is terrorism. Plain and simple. They are
NOT
fighting for freedom, they are fighting in order to murder Jews. And for
no
other reason.
So we can agree that Jewish groups like the Irgun were terrorists I take
it?
Perhaps so. But such groups were extremely rare and were prosecuted for
whatever crimes they committed.
There are HOW MANY Palestinian terrorist groups? Seven? Forty-seven? I've
lost count. And how many of THEM are prosecuted for their crimes?
