Peeping George says He's No Lurker |
Bush says U.S. not 'trolling through personal lives'
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/05/11/nsa.phonerecords/index.html
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Bush said Thursday the
government is "not mining or trolling through the
personal lives of millions of innocent Americans"
with a reported program to create a massive database
of U.S. phone calls.
"Our efforts are focused on links to al Qaeda and their
known affiliates," Bush said. "The privacy of ordinary
Americans is fiercely protected in all our activities."

The B-admins aren't going to stop with their list building.
They're CEOs, not career politicians. Of course they're
thinking about future commerical exploitation of the data.
Cheney has exploited the war for his company, Halliburton,
and Rumsfeld exploited bird flu for his company, Gilead.
They won't stop until they have all the parts for a
massive CRM database that any CEO would kill for.
