Possibly Stupid Najaf Conflict Questions |
Please forgive me if the following are stupid questions:
I. Why don't we use surgical anesthesia (delivered via sleep gas
grenades) to knock out the Al-Sadr fighters so that we can capture them
without a struggle?
II. Why not use tranquilizer darts on those fighters like we do to
capture wild animals?
III. Why not use Mace or pepper spray on those fighters?
IV. I understand that the Al-Sadr army has ammunition inside the holy
shrine of Imam Ali. Isn't that sacrilege and blasphemy? Why haven't
Shiite religious leaders condemned the storing of ammunition in that
mosque or even ex-communicated Al-Sadr? After all, Jesus flipped out at
the mere sight of merchants in the Jerusalem Temple (now the 3rd holiest
mosque in Islamdom).
