Go take a walk thru the Afghan countryside to see for yourself. The
warlords and Taliban are still there, patiently waiting us out.
The U.S Forces are small and Afghanistan is huge; our 'control' is about
that of the Soviet control during the eighties--limited to Kabul and a few
spots in the countryside. That's all the "democracy" there is in
Afghanistan right now.
They had a record opium crop this year, too. That would explain all these

Are you calling the UN observers liars? Or do you just the this stuff up to
support your hatred for freedom?

Not according to the UN. If that were true more than just a couple voting
stations would have been destroyed. But instead voting stations in all the
remote areas saw good turn-out and UN observers say you are a liar and a
fool.

They had a record opium crop this year, too. That would explain all these
factually-bereft Republican cheerleader posts.

Oh, yeah, the your only negative point and consistent fall back position.
Once this one is taken care of I'm sure you'll move onto the next issue. Oh
by the way, since you say we hardly have a presence there, how do you
suggest we police all the farms for opium?

As you've mentioned, our presence is far from comprehensive. Neither our
forces nor the UN are stationed everywhere throughout Afghanistan.

Or do you just the this stuff up to
support your hatred for freedom?

Hatred for freedom? You know, just because someone disagrees with you,
doesn't mean they hate "freedom". In fact, I'd argue that we throw
around the "freedom" moniker so frivolously, in a vain attempt to
sugar-coat our questionable policies, that it's begun to lose whatever
meaning it once held. Although I suppose it's much more fun to think
about war as shooting freedom bullets from our freedom tanks and
dropping freedom bombs from our freedom planes onto our freedom enemies.
But you're right, why wouldn't any one not like freedom?

No, I'm saying the U.N. isn't omniscient. I'm sure the areas they've
observed are peaceful, but it's naive to think that the UN sees all and
knows all. And for the record, I'm not a Democrat.

For future reference, avoid using Rush Limbaugh, one of the most
conservative talk shows in the nation, as a credible source for
defending Bush's policies. You'll be much less likely to be laughed at.

You're missing the point. Do you think Rush would interview an
Afghanistan who said the country is going to hell? The testimony of a
single individual doesn't necessarily represent the truth, especially
when it's sponsored by one as openly biased as Limbaugh.

That's not fair. Much of Rush's show is live and based on call-in's.
Whoever calls in, and gets on the air, gets to make their point and not
agree with Rush.
He has certainly had Bush detractors on the air, and they get to make
their argument.

Those that make over $200,000. You mean that working class?

Not only that, but Kerry will also reduce and/or destroy the ability of
those people to create jobs. Which, of course, is Kerry's intended goal.
We know Kerry's goal is NOT to "balance the budget", because Kerry has NEVER
voted to cut federal spending.
BTW, all legitimate analyses of Kerry's proposal to raise those taxes on the
Working Class show that it will NOT meet the increased federal SPENDING
Kerry is proposing in the debates. Thus Kerry will either cause a massive
increase in the federal debt, or he will raise the tax burden on the members
of the Working Class who earn less than $200K a year.
So yes, THAT working class.

Why stop there? Don't you know Kerry also hates puppies and kicks them
on a routine basis? He's also been quoted as saying fluffy clouds come
from the devil. This is a mad man! Let's vote for the Republicans who
have eliminated the national debt, secured world peace, cured every
disease known to mankind, and can do no wrong. You're right, living in a
fantasy world is fun!

This isn't just propaganda and it is false propaganda.
The elections were seriously flawed and will not bring Democracy to Iraq.
Also, you out right lie in regard to Kerry and taxes. He stated emphatically
he would NOT
increase taxes on the working man or average citizen. He said he would ONLY
increase taxes
on those making $200,000 a year or more.
