First of all, Mace is non lethal, the Kurds werent maced....
Second, US Troops have taken significant causalties to avoid
collaterial damage, particularily since the end of major hostilities.
If we were as bad as pathetic wretches like you believed, we would
just back off and MOAB the shrine. Once or twice more, and hostilies
would indeed end.
Fortunately for the Iraqis, American soldiers and their leaders are
generally an humanitarian lot and disinclined to use disproportional

Desecrating a shrine by using it as a fortress should be an
even worse crime. Interesting to see how much support

crime.
I suspect that lack of due (Iraqi) process - failure to raise the

Banning shoes only took 20 minutes. Some infidel came along with a couple of
wagon loads and forgot to pay off the mullahs.
But if they ban guns, then there would be another two hundred year delay -
each- working out banning hand grenades, bombs and nukes. Some folks just
need hardware as their outward sign of piety to make their multiple daily
worships as easy as possible.

Well, the simplest way to get them running out of that Mosqu is to lob a
few
Mace grenades in and pot them off as they come running out. So what's
the
problem.
Some of the Mosque residents may be too injuried to run, so wouldn't come
out.
The question is why are they in the Mosque in teh first place if they are
too injuryed to run out? Finally the answer is it sucks to be them, they'll
have to suck on tear gas until someone remembers they are in there and goes
back to get them.
The injuried might have been carried into the Mosque in the hopes that the U.S.
would not attack them there! Also, they might be praying for Allah to heal
them.
That mosque is full of injured guerillas. They have turned it into a
virtual hospital.
Then lets pump lots of anesthetic gas into that "hospital" to knock out
everyone.
