The only one of those whores that was any placed close to kerry made the
following statement on tv. He stated that he was close enough to see what was
going on when kerry was in battle that resulted in his award of a silver star.
The guy stated that he was about 30 years away and the action was not nearly as
bad as kerry claimed. My quesiton is just why that guy did not provide
assistance to the other boat under attack. There is no mention of the boat in
the official reports. So was the guy a coward who was too scared to get close
to the action or was he a liar.
The same guy stated that he got a house from one of the founding memembers of
the swift boat group. Most would consider that a bribe but in carl roves world
it would be considered normal spitting on our veterans.

the facts strongly support Kerry's version.
THe leaders of the fraudboat vets, the two authors of the book, are
notroious extremists. One, Mr O'Neil, worked for Chuck Colson to smear
Kerry for Nixon. Colson's political dirty tricks were so bad he had to
go to prison. Mr O'neil is the law partner of one of President Bush's
former texas lawyers, and stands to make a fortune from Bush
-generated legal work when Bush returns to Texas. He has failed to
disclose his legal relationship to the President.
He is said to have "way out" political views.
Some involved in this venture prevously worked to say McCain was
insane, a homosexual, a traitor, the father af a baby with a black
prostitute, and that his wife is a drug addict.
Mr Rove and President Bush both learned political strategy from a man
named Lee Atwater known for dishonest political efforts, so bad that
Atwater apologized for his efforts before his death, saying he wished
he had not done such things. But President Bush and Mr Rove, who run
obviously false attack ads about Kerry everyday, continue to resort to
such dishonest methods as Mr Atwater taught them.
