"Al-Qaeda" explained to the Brainwashed
Al-Qaeda is NOT an organisation of Islamic militants.
Experts say that what it is called "al-Qaeda" is a
loosely network of groups. It is an ideology and
inspiration for a certain type of virulent anti-Western
militancy.
Generally they do not know each other, they are individual
and independent cells, they may not know other dormant cells.
"Al-Qaeda" draws support from people who see the US's
military action in Iraq and Afghanistan, and its support
for Israel, as a war against Islam itself and would like
re-shape the Muslim world, replacing secular states with
a single Islamic political leadership.
The name "Al-Qaeda" (which means THE BASE)
emerged in USA in the late 1980s, as US members of
Intelligence "caught" that name during phone-tappings.
Already it was no one to correctly translate listenings ...
Or, then, they decided that this name was pretty good
for marketing ...
If "Al-Qaeda" had a chief, it was the Egyptian Ayman
al-Zawahri. But as al-Zawahri is not a billionaire, the
USA preferred to promote the name of Bin Laden ...
americans would be more impressed.
The names of "Al-Qaeda" and Bin Laden are very
useful for the US administration (and worldwide media
and gouvernments) to handle its own population
and the rest of the World.
If the name of "Al-Qaeda" is very useful right now
in UK, it seems that the name of Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi
(which of course they associate with the name "Al-Qaeda")
became a powerfull tool to the US handling and propaganda ...
