Of course, when are the Republicans going to come up with alternative
policies?
And why would they need to, given that they, unlike the Democrats, keep
being elected by the American People, so as to continue to implement their
CURRENT policies!
It's like you Democrats really just don't get it!

I am at least an Independent. I am not a democrat. And want proof? I
am looking to get Hillary kicked out in 2006. Mmm'k?
The problem with their current policies is that, a true conservative is
nauseated by their expansionistic neocon foreign policy and bloating of
deficits.
9/11 keeps on resonating, and why the average america would support tax
cuts they will never see is obviously proof that such isn't what they
are voting for.
Wait, I got it. Ban on gay marriage, and partial-birth abortions,
right?

Let us know when you and your Democrat pals are ready to start proposing
specific reductions in federal spending, Richard. Until then, all you are
doing is blowing the usual Ted Kennedy blue smoke out your *****.

Why was there not one budget vetoed, or a net slashing in federal
spending, while Bush and a Republican congress were in charge? Of
course, the Democrats aren't a party of balanced budgets. But the
Republican party isn't either, with congress and Bush doing wink wink
with each other to insure each other get elected. Of course, Bush, and
his oilman mentality, believes it will work out in the end anyhow.
The last time we got a balanced budget was with a Democratic president,
and a republican congress, so that Clinton didn't have to pander for
political support from individuals in congress.

Why was not one federal spending cut ever proposed by Democrats in Congress,
either while the Democrats were in charge or while the Republicans were in
charge? Why does the Democrat Party, to this very day, oppose any and all
cuts in federal spending which the Republicans have proposed?
Why does the Democrat Party continue to relentlessly pursue its Tax N' Spend
agenda that it has been pursuing, non-stop, for over 50 years?

Ted Kennedy, when is the Republican party going to stop this nonsense
of borrow and spend, which is worse than tax and spend, because you
eventually either have to tax more or default. Well, unless you
believe in the magic of the "Larry" Laffer Curves.
