It is contrary to the UN charter to invade a country without approval
by 11 of the 15 members of the Security Council.
The US ratified the UN Charter, and thus it is the "Supreme Law" of
the USA.
OBVIOUSLY President Bush is a war criminal.
Starting wars contrary BOTH to US and international law is the
ultimate war crime.
You can say - well, it was a good idea.
But you can't say it's legal.

Can you give us a link to the news release where the UN Security Council

They didn't.
Though the US did have 11 or more who supported the action, no vote
was taken because it would have been vetoed by Russia.
Clinton did get unanimous support from Nato for his action, though.
So Clinton's action was consistent with the principles of
international law, requiring broad support for such invasions, while
President Bush's action was not.
And look at the wisdom of such broad support. Clinton's war was
cost-effective, a big success.
Bush's war is a major disaster, with the US both a laughing stock, for
launching a war to get weapons which didn't even exist, and with the
result being almost universal revulsion at the invasion, with all the
costs that brings.
Clinton - got a standing ovation at the UN.
Bush - a laughing stock at the UN. Open microphones catch world
leaders saying about Bush "He's not very smart," that sort of thing.
So true, and the results are what you would expect from that.
Bush can't get anything right.
He's too dumb.
