It proved to the world that the US is being run by macho idiots and red
necks. Not that this came as any surprise. Arnie just confirmed the
obvious.

In a way, BiG is correct. The United States IS being run by macho types,
while girlymen such as John Kerry are relegated to the sidelines, having
been rejected by the voters for the top leadership positions. BiG has
correctly identified why the Republicans are the ruling party, and why the
Democrats are not. The voters want macho types - strong, capable
people -
in charge of the country, NOT wimpy people such as Al Franken or John
Kerry
or John Edwards.
I agree. The U.S. is a very violent country. Violent people prefer violent
government.A society at war with itself and with the world. Just like
Germany in the 1930's.
