political career is over.
An increasingly-common event now occurring in more and more Democrat
politicans' lives, actually. Basically, the American People have now
recognized that the Democrat Party and the crappy Socialist/Marxist
candidates it keeps putting forth for consideration are sh*t.
America is rejecting the Democrat Party, and so of course the political
careers of the Democrats is over.

liberals and Ivy league radical professors and their loyal students and
feminists and gays and lesbians.
That puts them increasingly outside the mainstream of
America--especially the mainstream of Red Counties in America. The Dem
Party is increasingly elitist--and alienated from the rest of the country.

I agree. The Democrat Party is elitist ("snobbish" would be another way of
putting it) and self-righteous. Thinks it knows best, even though the
voters think otherwise.
