Re: Bruce Springsteen draws 80,000 to Wisconsin Kerry rally |
Springsteen concerts normally attract quite a bit more than a mere 80,000 so
it shows the negative impact Kerry's presence had on the concert.

Bruce who? Didn't he have some hits 20-30 years ago, and the one with him
pissing on the American flag on the cover. Pinko *****. Does he still
call himself "The Boss". Guess thats like Mike Jackson callinging himself
the King of Pop
Who else did they dust off for this concert. I heard REM was up in Kerry,
they had some cool songs back in the 80's. Think they brought out Bon Jovi
at some point. He still have the mullet?
Oh, seems like John Cougar made an apperance. Only song I can remember him
singer was Jack and Diane. And seems he had one about his dad drinking away
the mortgage money for his farm so it got auctioned off.

you are truly clueless. Springsteen sells out arenas and stadiums
for concerts where ever he plays.......generally 15 to 40K people...... but
this was not a concert. He performed two songs...... spoke, quite
eloquently for a few minutes..... and left the stage to have a beer with
some college kids on their porch and listen to the Kerry speech.
This was the largest political gathering in WI history. People
did not leave after Springsteen performed.... they were there to see Kerry.

Pretty sad when Kerry has to resort to offering some entertainment to
draw a crowd.

Well, John Ashcroft volunteered to sing "The Eagle Roared" at a Bush
ralley, but campaign analysts determined that the would only draw 6
people, while at the same time driving away 6,000 people.

More than 80,000 normally? Ok now we know you are either a loon or one
of those trolls who posts to make republicans look more stupid than
they already appear.
