Timing is of the esence. Mrs Harris was campaign manager at the same time
she was secretary of the State of Florida. Mrs. Albright is NOT in office
now, so she can campaign for whoever she pleases. THis is a no brainer.

Albright is a civilian, not a government official of any kind. And most
certainly not the one whose job it is to certify the vote. The Harris thing
was unconscionable.
And another thing the Repugs tend to forget or overlook: the Republican
controlled Florida legislature was preparing to send a Bush slate to the
Electoral College regardless of the popular vote in the state.

That should tell the whole story, who did what and why. Specifically, note
when the Electoral College was to meet...had Gore gotten his way, and the
legislature not done what they were planning, Florida votes would truly 'not
be counted.'
