Funny how you Democrats never chanted that when you were voting for the
Civil Rights Act, eh Holman?
So fighting the denial of citizen's rights is the same as denying
citizen's
rights?
Do you have some secret list somewhere that you draw upon to decide what
"citizen's rights" are, Zen? You apparently think these issues are all
foregone conclusions....
I guess what that means for your political opponents is that they can merely
assert they are "fighting for the denial of citizens rights" when they are
calling for a Constitutional Amendment to define marriage as the union of
one man and one woman, or when they are calling for "Must Issue" laws in
every state for gun carry permits, or when they are calling for the invasion
of Iraq, or an increase in the federal budget, or for funding for some space
exploration program, or for school choice vouchers for all parents coast to
coast?
They can just say, "Oh, we're fighting against the denial of citizen's
rights!" and the debate will be over. Thanks for that helpful debating
tip, Zen!
