If Condi were serious about womens rights, she'd at least speak out
against the sex/slave trade worldwide - and she hasn't even done that.
Further, in Iraq (partially her doing) womens rights has taken a 500
year step backwards to a time when women were chattel.

Condoleezza Rice has banned Playboy and Penthouse from State Department
newsstands. "Alerted by an aide that the skin magazines, partially clad in
brown paper covers, were placed beside newsmagazines and close to candy,
nuts, and stuffed animals, she said, 'I want them out.'"

So Americans are back to the days when Larry Flynt's Hustler case went all
the way to the Supreme Court because Flynt insulted the Fascist Jerry
Falwell and Falwell bombed.
Falwell tried to say that sending Hustler through the US Postal Service
was pornography peddling.
congrats, you have compared apples to lettuce. Dr. Rice did not make
adult publications illegal. All she did was to make them stop selling it
in buildings she controls, totally within her rights. This in no way stops
you or me from going to Borders, Barnes&Noble, Waldenbooks, other book
stores or privatly owned newsstands, or even a adult bookstore (where you
meet your boyfriends thru the gloryhole). Nothing has changes and life
goes on, GET OVER IT!!
