Well, once again, we have the leftist position, buried in their simplistic
worldview
that in all situations in our world one "side" of an issue is "right" and
the other "wrong." That if we are "Nice" "the world" will "like" us, and we
will all live happily ever after, and everyone will live in peace. "Do it
for the children," soccer mom, hippie stuff, which only works in the grade B
movies.
Unfortunately, the Isreali Palestinian conflict is just another of many
which just does not fit into that leftist model.
Firstly, the Isrealis have fought and won many wars when attacked by Arab
states intent upon their publicly announced goal of destroying Isreal.
Every war that was started was started by Israel. In 1956 Israel invaded Egypt
to take the canal. In 1967 Israel pulled a pearl harbor attack on Egypt.
Jordan and Syria both with selfdefense treaties with Egypt attacked Israel in
response to the aggression of the Israel military. In 1973 the Israel with the
help of the United States set up a sneak attack were egypt did attack but into
an ambush because the United States had advanced equipment and information.
Would you stop with the tears that poor little Israel is a victim
Secondly, The Palestinian Authority, so called, has no control over the
people they claim to represent, and thus they are incapable of signing any
agreement with Isreal on any subject. The power there lies in the hands of
the terrorists who are sworn to destroy Isreal.
Well given the attacks of the Israel can you blame them?
The Isrealis have built settlements and now live in land allegedly reserved
for the Palestinian people.
Many land grabbers moved into the west bank to get land. They continue to
steal arab land.
Now, how all this came about is really totally irrelevant.
Really. How typical of you to avoid the stealing of Arab land.
If one side or
the other was "wrong" in 1948, or 1492, the entire people today are not
guilty of anything,
on either side of the issue, and will not pack up and go away as a result.
Well you have to learn to live with each other or learn to live with the
murders and other bad things.
Israel is in a very bad way for the long term. It has lost the population race
even in the United States were the Jewish vote will become less and less. It
was the zionist globalist that forced immigration and it it the thing that will
be there downfall.
If someone is or is not antisemitic, debating that issue is also just
emotional foolishness, I'm sure some are, and some are anti arab, and
debating that also makes absolutely no practical real world contribution to
a settlement of the issues between these peoples.
Quite obviously to any thinking human on our planet by now, yet another
American President going over for a photo op to "point the way to peace"
for the leftists and soccer moms to cluck over will not accomplish a thing.
What is required is a military force that can separate these people,
establish the borders between them on a practical basis, totally eliminate
the terrorst threat,
Like the United Nations but that organization is now just a puppet of the
Israel because of the vetos of the United States.
and provide a stable and peaceful environment and functional government in
Palestine for as long as it takes to change the basic culture of these
people.
You kind of left out the settlers who are every bit a group that needs cluture
and control.
Today, like many Arab states, they are lost in some 10th century
religous nightmare dominated by cults who worship the death of their own
children to accomplish their ends.
Who is at fault for that? It was the British who promised a homeland then gave
it to the Jews. The british allowed thousands of arabs to die for the brithish
take over of the oil fields.
Now, I fully understand it is not
"politically correct" to express this truth, this common sense, however it
must be recognized.
What I see is your are a bigot. YOu just feel that your god is better than the
other guys but the problem is the other guy feels exactly the same.
God help us if this force, when it comes, and it eventually will, is
controlled by or subject to any influence by the corrupt United Nations.
Well once the United Nations expells the corruption of Israel then it might be
a better organization.

CRITICISM OF ISRAEL IS NOT "ANTI-SEMITISM"
by LDHK
While the media is proclaiming the recently concluded European Conference
a
reaffirmation of the fight against anti-Semitism, the reality is that
Israel
has been dealt a stunning political setback.
Long used to equating criticism of Israel as an expression of hate against
the Jewish people, Israeli supporters attending the conference (when they
were not vandalizing artwork) tried repeatedly to define criticism of
Israel
as anti-Semitism, and were rebuffed at every turn. Even Colin Powell,
Secretary of State to the one nation always willing to protect Israel at
the
United Nations, delinked criticism of Israel from anti-Semitism. In the
end,
even the ADL's Abe Foxman had to grin and try to put the best face on it.
But Israel has lost one of its oldest and most effective means to deflect
criticism of its actions.
Simply put, it is NOT anti-Semitism to criticize Israelis for what they
DO.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to report on Israeli spies in this country taping
into police phone systemsd and warning Israeli drug dealers of
investigations that threaten them.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to point out that Israel has defied more UN
Resolutions that Iraq.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to mention that Israel is the only nation in the
Middle East that actually HAS weapons of mass destruction.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to remind people that Ariel Sharon has been
charged
with war crimes.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to oppose the continuing sending of US tax dollars
to Israel (totally four times the cost of the entire Apollo Moon Program)
during times of great economy hardship in this country.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to express concern over the vast sums of money
that
pro-Israel lobbyists are pouring into Congressional coffers.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to be concerned about reports that the Mossad has
suceeded in tapping even the White House phone system.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to point out that many of these supposed "hate
crimes" Israel loves to hide behind are hoaxes.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to want the US Government to be more concerned
with
the American people than with Israelis.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to reject politicians who openly display their
loyalty to a foreign power.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to be angered by Philip Zelikow's admission that
the
war in Iraq was not fought to protect the US, but to protect Israel.
It is NOT anti-Semitism to tell Israel's supporters that hiding their
crimes
behind the entire Jewish people by screaming "anti-Semite" at every
criticism is a really good way to set those same people up as targets!
Make no mistake, Israel has been dealt a serious blow by the conference in
Europe. While there is no question that Israe's supporters will go on
harassing and spearing those who dare criticise the policies of Ariel
Sharon, the tar won't stick. It's official. Criticism of Israel is NOT
anti-Semitism.
Lawyers will be instituting legal proceedings against all search engines,
ISPs, and content filtering companies which have labeled this as
"anti-Semitic".
