Are they? Let's consider a few thoughts...

You don't know what a thought is.

1. Most DNC congressmen

Please identify how many Democratic Congressmen are on the DNC, with
cites.

in D.C. are rich

They are? Please provide cites, and a usable definition of "rich".

and send their kids to private schools.

Do you ever check your nonsense before you post. You should, because
you know that others will and we lambaste you when you post this sort
of nonsense.
This is 2003 data, but there is no reason to believe the percentages
are significantly different.
http://www.heritage.org/Research/Education/BG1684.cfm

Earlier this year, The Heritage Foundation conducted a survey of
Members of Congress on school choice. Of those who responded to the
survey, 41 percent of U.S. Representatives and 46 percent of U.S.
Senators send or have sent at least one of their children to a
private school.

You have to download the charts in order to enlarge them. For those
House members responding (324 of them), it was 43% of Republicans and
38% of Democrats. Of the Senators responding (80 of them), 52% of
Republicans and 40% of Democrats sent their kids to private school.
So "most" Democrats do NOT send their kids to private school. Indeed
only in the Senate do most Republicans send their kids to private
school.
You are wrong again. (So what else is new).

Would public schools and poverty be on their mind?

More so than the Republicans, who are even more likely to be wealthy
and more likely to send their kids to private school.
25 richest senators 12 Dems/13 Reps
25 richest Congressmen 7 Dems 18 Reps
25 poorest senators 14 Dems/10 Reps/1 Ind
25 poorest Congressmen 14 Dems 11 Reps
But of course the question is a red herring. Franklin Roosevelt was
rich as can be, but his New Deal programs did a lot for those in
poverty. LBJ initiated the War on Poverty and he was also quite rich.
Based on the "you have to be like X in order to properly represent X",
no woman would ever vote for a male candidate, and no minority would
ever vote for a white person.

2. If their own salary is high, do you think they would want to tax
themselves a higher rate?

Are you arguing that Democrats are NOT "tax and spend"?
FDR was the one who raised the marginal tax rate on the highest
incomes from 25% to 63% and eventually in 1944 to 94%

3. This is the biggest reason to doubt them.

You and the word "reason" don't go together

ALL of these DNC leaders

The DNC leaders are not in Congress.

got their position from money from whom?

They get their money usually from investments, and sometimes from
inheritance.
But since you are changing the subject to campaign contributions, you
would have to look at the individual to see where his/her campaign
money came from.

Was it the poor going to their 500 dollar per plate fundraisers?

Do you think that Congressmen get personally wealthy from fundraisers?
That would be more than slightly illegal.

Did small donations from the poor make up even a majority of their funds...no.

"Donations" go to campaigns, and not to a Congressman's bank account,
unless someone wants to go to jail.

The funds were mostly from corporations and rich donors. Who do you think they
will owe upon getting into office?

Certainly not you.

Do you think they will betray their rich donors by raising taxes upon them, or do you think they
will raise taxes upon the very poor they claimed to represent?

The history is that if they raise taxes, the increases will focus more
on the well-to-do. Someone who *thinks*, unlike you, would tend to
expect historical trends to continue, barring evidence to the
contrary.

Well, other than a couple of shoe eyelets and a charred fingernail,
