Despite the wishes from liberals and the press everywhere, nothing bad
happened this new years eve.

Liberals and the press? Let's see, who was it that declared "condition
Orange?"

Why do you feel it is a "bad thing" to declare Condition Orange??

No liberals or press I know of. Who put police on every street
corner and helicopters in the sky over Times Square? No liberals or press
that I know of.

Why do you feel it is a "bad thing" to put "police on every street corner"?
Were you also upset and did you also feel it was a "bad thing" when Clinton
announced he was going to "put 100,000 cops on the street"?
As the other poster pointed out, despite wishes from liberals and the press
everywhere, nothing bad happened this New Year's Eve.

Please cite for me one -- just one -- statement from a "liberal" or a

member

of the press who wished for a terrorist strike on New Year's Eve/

Seems more likely that the Bush junta was hoping something would happen to
give them a boost going into 2004.

Joe S.

No one was attacked, times square is still
safe, and the crowds hit new records in NYC. This ends a year full of
dissapointments for liberals everywhere. Let's briefly review what

happened

this year to remind liberals why they feel so miserable...

Saddam was captured
US Troops enjoyed the surprise visit from Bush's Thanksgiving visit
No domestic terror attacks occurred
The economy is in an undeniable rebound following the Clinton slump in

his

last year in office
The DOW is up 25%
GDP growth was highest in over 20 years
Tax cuts worked
Unemployment rate is going down
More and more states are getting out of their budget crunches
Inflation levels are still low
Home buying is robust for the 3rd year in a row
Liberal news outlets are losing readers/viewers
The liberal press won't abide by DNC marching orders anymore
Dean is relying on dreamed-up conspiracy theories about Bush to win a
nomination
Every Democratic canidate is getting increasingly whackier the longer

their

party is out of power
Socialist extremist Howard Dean is leading Democratic polls, but party

knows

he can't win
MSNBC, CNN, and the 3 major news networks continue to lose ratings
Democrats continue to make fools of themselves on a daily basis

I can think of many more but I want to stop before the libs start

slashing

their wrists.
