Oil prices going up doesn't hurt the administration's argument that the
U.S. needed to invade Iraq.

As time goes on and oil gets more scarce, the big competition for oil is
China.

In many areas of the world, peak oil has already been reached and it just
a matter of time before the big slippery slope happens.
