is like military conscription, you don't get the best participants that
way and half the people there just want to do whatever they can to end
the trial as quickly as possible. That's not justice.
I think it should be more than a small charm. Otherwise who will do
it? Just old people with no money and a lot of time to kill. I'm for
paying people $10 an hour for jury duty. Lot of homeless people would
take that and they'd be better jurors than some rich ***** who
doesn't want to be there.
