That's true in most cases, but not all.

If you listen carefully, they balance everything.

Some stories start with a
conservative point of view. Some start with a left point of view. The
stories balance within themselves.
Since I haven't listened to NPR in over a year, it's possible
they have changed. But I remember thinking that they
certainly tend to be left of center.
You should listen to "The Connection" in the mornings, you might not get it
in your area, check it out.
