borrow more.
Our debt now as a percentage of GDP is lower than it has been in the past,
and you Democrats didn't panic then. You Democrats only seem to panic when
Republicans win the elections and reduce the tax burden on the American
Worker, rather than keep that tax burden high, as you Democrats want.

This isn't remotely true. Between 1981 and 1995, debt rose steadily as a
percent of GDP. It started dropping only to see it start up again under
your hero, The Shrub.
Not only is it rising again but Bush's massive debt is growing at a
multiple of economic growth meaning the ratio is getting worse in a
hurry. Bush's debt this year will probably fall short of the record in
real terms by a narrow margin but he can be proud he's in solid command
of 2nd place. If he can squeeze in another tax cut Bush'll be the real
'winner'.
