Once again, a lunatic liberal Democrat demonstrates his utter inability to
address the issue, and instead he attacks the messenger.
This is the way of today's Democrat Party. It is an intellectually bankrupt
party.

Contact your Senator NOW!!

A Flag Amendment Vote Is Imminent!!

On June 3, 2003, by a vote of 300-125, the United States House of

Representatives passed House Joint Resolution 4, the flag amendment,

for the fifth time in consecutive Congresses. On March 10, 2004 the

Senate Judiciary Committee conducted hearings on their version of

the resolution (Senate Joint Resolution 4) and the amendment is now

moving forward in the Senate.

A vote on S.J. Res. 4 is imminent and expected to occur between

Memorial Day and Independence Day, July 4th.

It is critical that all United States Senators hear from their

constituents immediately. Check below to see if your two Senators

are cosponsors of S.J. Res. 4, then click here to send an email

message to them.

Those who are cosponsors should receive your thanks. Those without

indication of cosponsorship are to be urged to support the amendment

and VOTE FOR Senate Joint Resolution 4, the Hatch-Feinstein flag

amendment. If the Senator notes opposition, remind them that we

aren't asking them to change their mind, but to change their

position, vote for S.J. Res. 4 and let the people decide if the flag

should be protected. A follow-up to the email with a phone call or a

visit, or phone call and a personal visit to your Senators' offices

would help to assure your desires are heard and heeded.

Don't be the only one to communicate with Senators. Urge everyone

you know to send an email, make the call, and pay a visit to the

hometown office of both their United States Senators and urge them

to VOTE FOR Senate Joint Resolution 4.

Those without Internet/email access can, and should, contact their

US Senators as well. Where the position of a Senator is unknown,

just ask that they VOTE FOR S.J. Res. 4, the flag amendment. A

follow-up letter, fax, or personal visit to the Senators' offices

would also be in order. Washington, DC, offices of US Senators can

be reached by telephone through the U.S. Capitol Switchboard, 202

224-3121. Local (in-state) office telephone numbers and addresses

for US Senators are listed in the Blue (US Government) Pages of your

local phone book, under "Congress."
