2004, not 1996, and was going to do it with two more rounds of HUGE tax
increases. He never got CLOSE to the spending cutting targets of HIS
OWN BUDGET PLAN. It was the Republican Congress that balanced the
budget, not Clinton. The recession that you love to blame on Bush
started in 1999 and WHO was president???????? There's a reason your boy
Kerry is LOSING, but please, try to lie him out of it, it's fun to see

Republicans claimed it would cause a recession if
it passed. Every Republican voted against it. For the
next eight years, the economy boomed. Clinton balanced
the budget. Now Bush has squandered that surplus.
Republicans control all branches of the government,
the economy is anemic, the stock market stinks, the
budget deficit is soaring, millions more people are
now below the poverty level, oil prices are soaring.

presidential control. You would be shocked how much spending is non
discrectionary. Clinton and Bush are neither to credit nor blame. It's "the
