The "White Horse Revelation" was bogus. I'll be happy to
prove this for you, as I have with the last 30 or 40 bogus
accusations against Mormonism you've tried to copy and poste
here.

If I was him, I sure wouldn't run. I believe
it would not only hurt him but the LDS

Actually, it would probably help the Church a great deal.
There's really very little amiss with Romney. The only real
objection to him running is that many voters are so
pessimistic they might not be able to believe there could be
an honest, competent public servant. So he might lose, and
we'd be stuck with "Doctor" Hillary or "Professor" Gore or
Two-Face Johnny or whichever other amoral opportunist the
Dems might run next, overloaded as they are with youthful
and enthusiastic, but not-so-wise, artistic and alternative
minded people.
Even assuming he were to lose: a lot of people would be
thinking about the Church, and the next time the LDS
missionaries knock on their door, they might think of how cool
Romney is, and let them in and listen to them, try to learn
something.
We are not going to go away. Fifty years ago we were 1/1000
in the US. Today we are 1/50. Despite your utmost efforts to
deceive people that we LDS are evil, at some point you are not
going to be able to prevent the electorate from eventually
voting in an LDS President.

Runnning for Prez is nothing like running for Gouvenor!

I'm having trouble guessing what this is supposed to mean. I
don't suppose you will explain?

Mitt's Evangelical Breakthrough
By W. James Antle III

Things are looking up for Mitt Romney. Not only has the
outgoing Massachusetts governor been getting reasonably
favorable press from usually hostile places but, courtesy of
George Allen's Macaca moment, his position in the 2008
Republican presidential field suddenly looks more secure -- the
most viable candidate to the right of front-runners John McCain
and Rudy Giuliani.
Romney appears to sense the opportunity. For social
conservatives, he has swung pro-life on abortion and embryonic
stem-cell research. To burnish his supply-side credentials, he
has pressed the Democratic legislature to lower tax rates and
signed into law the nation's largest sales-tax holiday. And
when Sen. John Kerry argued that Iraq wasn't part of the war
on terror, Romney -- who traveled to Baghdad in May --
countered by saying the 2004 Democratic nominee "shows a
complete lack of understanding of the kind of enemy we're
facing."
Despite daunting early poll results, Romney might have a chance
if he can win over small-government conservatives who have
unhappily resigned themselves to McCain and religious
rightists who aren't aware of Giuliani's pro-choice stance.
That means the Mormon from Massachusetts will need to appeal
to evangelical voters. Can he?
The people behind Evangelicals for Mitt hope so. They make the
case that evangelicals are politically sophisticated enough to
support a candidate who shares their values even if he doesn't
share their theology. The website's mission statement calls for
a president who not only "shares our political and moral
values and priorities" but "can win in 2008, and can govern
effectively thereafter."
