Attempting to smear and destroy the reputations of those with whom you
politically disagree is not satire.
Correct, I think we can all agree that Newt Gingrich, Dan Burton and Tom
Delay are *not* satirists.
It makes me sick to see intellectually dishonest individuals hide
behind the First Amendment to spread propaganda, libel and slander.
Limbaugh has been doing it for years.
I wonder how The Times' editorialists would react if their faces
graced a book cover accompanied by the word "liar."
Now we get to the core of the Fox suit, and it has nothing to do with the
spurious claims of trademark infringement. O'Reilly's feelings have been
hurt because he's on the cover of Franken's "Liars" book. Bill, you're a
big boy, deal with it.
