It's new and developing but it's there, that's for sure. It's rather
comical how many democrat politicians refer to it as nothing more than
"entertainment."

That's true. We would be pretty bored without all
this give and take from either side. Of course,
I think media is, for the most part, about selling papers,
etc., and piquing either party.
Objectivity doesn't sell. So, I guess, we can also
look at it as necessary, sometimes painful
entertainment. I mean, why do become
so invested in politics, anyway? Most of us are
limited in our power. I guess it's sort of the
same fanaticism that drives us to support
sports teams and such.
