I was reading how some are pushing for control on PAY CABLE channels.
The channels you can't get unless you *ask* for the and *pay* extra.
Yep. Society has the right to regulate that too.
Next they'll ***** about the DVDs and the horrors of mature material on
them. You know, the ones you have to go to a store and pick and pay for.
Yep, that is also the right of society to regulate such material. Don't
like it? Move to some Muslim country, maybe you'll find the standards more
lax there.
But I doubt it.
Get over yourself, liberal. You're not running the show, nor shall YOUR
morals (or lack thereof) dictate to the rest of us.

Speaking sending Cubans back to Cuba,
did you catch the Bush INS doing just that
last week?
Wednesday, February 04, 2004
MIAMI -- Two Cubans have apparently failed again
to sail to Florida using a floating car or truck.
Exile activists say the US Coast Guard is returning
the two men and their passengers to Cuba.
One activist says Marciel Basanta Lopez and Luis
Grass Rodriguez were trying to sail an old Buick
carrying themselves and nine others, including five
children, to the Florida Keys. But he says the car
was stopped late yesterday by the US Coast Guard
about ten miles from shore. According to the
activists, the eleven are now being returned to Cuba.

have the final word on where they live. And that
rule was written by your GOP friends in Congress.
Why do you want to break up families?
It was already a broken family. The parents were divorced.
Even in divorced families natural parents
have greater custody rights than distant cousins
who live in another country.

I was reading how some are pushing for control on PAY CABLE
channels.
The channels you can't get unless you *ask* for the and *pay*
extra.
Yep. Society has the right to regulate that too.
Conservatives LOVE regulations. And federal
power, big government, and jack-booted thugs.
As long as they are the ones pulling the strings.
Didn't Clinton send in the thugs for the illegal Elian?
What party controlled the Congress wrote
the 1996 Immigration Reform Act that required
the return of Little Elian to his father?
Elian made it to shore, he was supposed to be able to stay.
He didn't make it to shore, he was rescued
by fishermen. And yes, under the law his father
had the sole decision regarding his status.

Yep. Society has the right to regulate that too.
Why?
Why?
Why?
Next they'll ***** about the DVDs and the horrors of mature material on
them. You know, the ones you have to go to a store and pick and pay for.
Yep, that is also the right of society to regulate such material. Don't
like it? Move to some Muslim country, maybe you'll find the standards
more
lax there.
But I doubt it.
Get over yourself, liberal. You're not running the show, nor shall YOUR

I was reading how some are pushing for control on PAY CABLE
channels.
The channels you can't get unless you *ask* for the and *pay* extra.
Yep. Society has the right to regulate that too.
Why?
Why?
Why?
Asking once is sufficient, you dolt. And if you had bothered to look up
the definition of "society" and had known what it is, you would have
already
had your answer, you pathetic lazy little boy.
Get over yourself, you pompous, self-righteous Leftist.
So, the Republicans are the party of telling people who they can have sex
with, what they can watch on TV, and who they can marry.
How un-American.

What is your fucking problem? Really. What kind of sick pleasure do you get
from posting this garbage?
You probably torture cats and enjoy reading true crime stories.
You are sick. Seriously.

If you weren't such a loser you could ditch those fantasies

Yep. Society has the right to regulate that too.
But your constitution (remember that?) says that it does not.....
Next they'll ***** about the DVDs and the horrors of mature material on
them. You know, the ones you have to go to a store and pick and pay for.
Yep, that is also the right of society to regulate such material.
Why?
Don't
like it? Move to some Muslim country,
I am assuming that this is not some attempt at post-modern irony, and
that he really means whatever it is that he thinks he is saying....
maybe you'll find the standards more
lax there.
But I doubt it.
Get over yourself, liberal. You're not running the show, nor shall YOUR
morals (or lack thereof) dictate to the rest of us.
What is being dictated to you? I hate to say this, but most civilised
countries make a distinction between personal morality and the law. In
Europe, whatever it is that you want to do in the bedroom (providing
that all parties agree, of course) and whatever it is that you want to
read or watch is nobody else's business.
As far as the mass media is concerned, we do not ban - we regulate. We
have a 9p.m. watershed in Britain, and there are some restrictions on
programming before that time. Simple! (It's called common sense, by
the way.)
Let me tell you what I really find objectionable about public
censorship (though I find a lot of other things objectionable as
well). It is the fact that a group of people have the bloody arrogance
and presumption to assert that they are less corruptable than me!
Now Kaptain Kerry is one of these....but that makes matters worse. You
see, I am educated, sophisticated, articulate, and literate. He is
clearly a complete moron.... And now, judge, I rest my case......
Toodle pip!
Dr. Barry worthington
