A poll released last month found nearly 80% of Americans support
renewing the 10-year-old ban on the manufacture and sale of certain
semiautomatic assault guns.

That ban expires Sept. 13.

And Bush already voiced his support for renewing the ban and said
he would sign a bill renewing it if presented to him. But the
Republicans in Congress played procedural games to kill the
proposed renewal. I am not a member of the NRA but am a gun rights
sympathizer, and I absolutely despise Bush. Educated voters can
go beyond single issue politics and look at the broader picture.
So what if Bush "protects" gun rights if he destroys the country
and the world? And Bush really isn't a gun rights supporter at
all, he simply keeps a lower profile when he restricts those rights.
If Bush is re-elected expect to see further restrictive laws signed
by Bush. Bush will try to spin it to appear that he had no choice
but to sign the gun ban law, as it was bundled with something
politically popular, such as a 10 trillion dollar subsidy for
Halliburton. The NRA won't utter a peep of protest, as they really
are slaves to the Republican party (not the other way around).
Guns will be banned under Republicans just as much as they will be
banned under Democrats, the only difference is whether the ultimate
gun ban takes 10 years or 20 to complete.

Can you describe for us how many of the teachers' unions and trial lawyer
groups have spoken out against John Kerry? Or are they slaves to the
Democrat Party?
BTW, have you seen the latest Kerry lie that has been outted? Turns out
Kerry had claimed he was in Cambodia, even though he never got any closer
than 55 miles to that country. http://www.drudgereport.com/dnc91.htm

Only a tiny percentage of all the people on the planet earth speak out
against Kerry, because only a tiny number support Bush.
Everyone, basically, left, right and center, don't want Bush.
Out of six billion people on teh planet, maybe 100 million want Bush
reelected?
Even in the US alone, 43 percent say he deserves to be reelected and
53 percent say he does not.
Why would anyone in his right mind speak out against Kerry, given his
opponent?
A guy who lies to start wars, whe gets absolutely everything wrong.
Whose campaign crowds can only cheer
FOUR MORE WARS! FOUR MORE WARS!
That's the only thing he can run on - that he'll bring us more wars.
Starting wars, for no good reason, is the only thing he can get right.

Exactly.
Look at what Bush has brought to Iraq - people who could own guns now can't.
