Canadian doctors don't make money off their patients? If they're
revenue neutral, what do they live on?
The difference is do they live on the same as we do or make outragious
amounts of money like they do now?
Canadian doctors make good money, but in Ontario a few years ago, when the
Conservatives were in power and cutting every education and health program
possible, they implemented a salary cap for doctors, to encourage them to
cut back on how much they billed OHIP (the Ont. Health Insurance Program).
Since then, even more doctors then ever before have been defecting the US
because they just make more money here.
