Have you never heard of immaculate conception??
That was the idea that Mary was concieved without the taint of
original sin.
When you've got a faith that regards motherhood as wonderful and sex (even
within marriage) as "sinful" you have a problem, the answer is "immaculate
conception" - QED.
May or may not have involved lust.
From whom?, Mary or the "Holy Ghost"?, neither seems very plausible.
David.
Me thinks you're still not on the page. Immaculate conception has
nothing to do with Mary becoming pregnant, but rather Mary's mother
becoming pregnant with her. Whether her father was operating on lust,
love or whatever, isn't part of the story.
BTW, I don't know what religion you are referring to, but few regard
sex within marriage as sinful.

I do. Whether in or out of marriage, the issue is not whether or not
you are married, but whether or not you plan to have a child. Unsafe
sex is actually sinful if it takes a risk with another person's - the
possible baby's life. Even if you're married you may be 21 years old
and poor, and not ready to have a child. There are too many unwanted
and unplanned children brought into the world. Impoverished, and
without mature parents to teach them, they may grow up to become
criminals. If you don't already have one child, having a first child
will change your life dramatically. So use two forms of birth
control, hormonal contraceptives and condoms, or the pull-out, or a
diaphragm (there are 6 possible combinations all providing more
protection than a vasectomy or tubal ligation), and there is virtually
no risk of pregnancy, probably less than dying in a car accident, and
then sex is no longer sinful or immoral in the least! Even if you are
single and not in a relationship! So go ahead and have that one night
stand! Just make sure you use two forms of birth control, and you are
less a sinner than a young poor married couple who take no
precautions. The Catholic Church teaches to sin when it suggests to
its adherents to have sex without birth control, and it teaches a lie,
and when it says that sex _with_ birth control is sinful at all!
Diseases:
Watch out for Herpes and Genital Warts - asking the other person if
they have anything, inspecting their genitals, and wearing a condom
provides some protection. The small risk of HIV/AIDS is dramatically
decreased by 90% if you wear a condom, and don't allow ***** to enter
any orifices (by using condom or pull-out). Don't have sex if you
have cuts or lesions as it makes it easier to contract HIV/AIDS or
Herpes. Also, if you're sexually active and not monogamous, you
should get a test for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia twice a year. If left
untreated either can lead to Pelvic Inflammatory Disease - PID in
women, and epididymitis in men, both of which can lead to infertility
if not treated. At the same time you can be tested for Syphilis and
HIV. HIV is deadly. Syphilis is deadly or can cause permanent
physical harm if not treated. But both are less common. The other
diseases to watch out for are Scabies, Crabs, Molluscum Contagiosum,
and Trichomoniasis. Trichomoniasis requires a wet mount or a culture
to diagnose. Also Bacterial Vaginosis is not an STD but can occur
when something new upsets the normal balance of the vagina. Vaginitis
is caused by Bacterial Vaginosis, Trichomoniasis, or a yeast
infection. The other disease is Hepatitis B, which you can be
vaccinated against and/or tested for. I think that pretty much covers
all of the most common STD's. There are others such as Chancroid and
LGV, but they report an annual incidence of only a few 100 cases per
year in the United States, so the chances of catching those is
probably pretty slim. See http://www.epigee.org/health/stds.html for
more info.
It's always best to shower before sex, and use mouthwash or drink some
alcohol. Mouthwash helps heal small cuts in your mouth.
