You're right about the hardball by Democrats. The lefties who are
out touch on USENET often complain about "GOP Lite" and "being too
soft on the GOP" when in fact the Democrats are far more vicious than
the GOP ever is.

Sharpton may be the Democrats' best hope. At least the guy is colorful (no
pun intended) and occasionally amusing, and he can probably win a majority
of the black vote versus President Bush. Sharpton may be the best the
Democrats have to offer at this point.
