How long is that TMI concrete going to last? Who is paying for this

Who paid for the TMI plant that no longer functions?
The utility customers of course. Why ask such a silly question?
I wonder if it occurs to him to ask, "Who paid for the oil-fired plants that
now must purchase expense foreign-produced oil in order to remain in
operation?", Michael. Do you think he is aware that alternative forms of
electrical production also carry risks and expenses for the consumer? He
seems somewhat naive as to how the power industry operates, what the costs
might be, and what the various risks are for the various forms of power
production.
I'm guessing he would like to be able to do some sort of simplistic
analysis, and thereby rule nuke power plants somehow "unacceptable".
