Operation Iraqi Freedom
Dec. 4, 2003

When the U.S. invasion came last spring with promises of democracy
and self-rule, people in Karbala were among the first to try and
take charge of their own affairs.

Religious and community leaders got together and selected a city
council to represent them, and a security force to protect them.
They had assumed that their experiment in democracy would be
applauded by the American military.

It was not. U.S. troops disarmed the protection force, arrested
popular city councilmen and put back into power some of the same
people who had served Saddam.

It has left people here angry and frustrated, including Dr. Hussein
Shahristani, one of the most respected exiles to return after the
war.

And it left the CBS "news" neo-Marxists as bitter as ever, now that America
is FINALLY daring to face down the Muslim Terrorist, WHEREVER he shows his
***** Muslim face.

I'm interested dearest Babs, how CBS news is *neo-Marxist*, and how does

this differ from them being merely Marxist, Communist, Socialist, Leninist
or even Trotskyist in their political orientation. I'm going to love your
explanation of how a large corporation like CBS is fostering the coming
proletarian revolution and how it plans its own destruction once it becomes
nationalised in this neo-Marxist America....or are you using adult words you
fail to understand again.....LOL. And using ******* in any analysis always
adds to your credibility.

LOL, no different from dems/libs using the term neo-con when they
don't know what they're talking about. I'm sure the original poster
was just giving you the same treatment that was given to
conservatives.
For my part, I would have referred to CBS as being pseudo-Marxist.
CBS talks like a socialist, but it doesn't walk like a socialist.
Calling those people armed combatants (Karbala) would have been much
more accurate than calling them community leaders. However, taking
the other side, I don't seriously believe that democracy is possible
in Iraq, so the only system capable of keeping these people from
breaking into factions and warring amongst themselves would be to set
up another dictatorship.
