Charles is the archetype useful idiot. He talks like the Enlightenment Man.
The Enlightened Man represents a tiny amount of people even throughout Europe.
The mass of Europeans have remained as primitive as they have ever been. Hence
two world wars within twenty years. Numerous wars before and since.
Enlightened Man is a myth. We are mainly Primitives with a thin veneer of
Reasonableness. This is just a teeny weeny level above our natural state of
wanting to kill people we don't like.
And for Charles to talk in front of the most rabid killers on earth as though
his Reasonableness is going to influence them and think maybe the British are
nice guys after all and we shouldn't want to kill them is just naive. They are
in the conscious process of taking over Europe by using the *weakness * of
Reason...and Charles's Enlightenment Reasonableness won't allow him to see it.
We won the war against Germans because we fooled them on D Day. This is what
the Muslims are doing to Europe.
