Face it - what are the greatest challenges to world peace right now:
- Israel
- the petroleum industry
- the muslim world
- the US government
- global warming
- world poverty
- population movements
The greatest challenge to world peace is the same now as it has ever
been...balance of power changing. Your list actually trivialises the importance
of what you are saying.
Once one collective consciousness of a national identity rises( or a religion)
and another atrophy's, there is the seed of conflict. It's the way Humans
developed. It is only wrong in the eyes of moralists.
Nature demands excesses until one side dominates. The 'Balance' in life is
a mental concept....an abstraction. Nothing in nature is
balanced....everything runs to excess. WE as humans with a Mind can only see
the process progressing and declining and make a judgment about where the Middle
is and call it a point of Balance. This is us after just avoiding atomising
ourselves for fifty years. We think we have achieved Balance. It's a mistake
of reasoning.
The Arabs have witnessed ATROPHY in the West and is going to exploit it. The
West is now in more danger than when threatened by Russia. It is UN-NATURAL
to suppress this phenomenon the Arabs are exploiting but education has tried to
do just that. It always fails because nature will demand to be heard over the
noise of abstract thought.
So the phenomenon you think is contained within the aggressiveness of Israel is
perfectly normal. It is fighting against the tribal and national demands of
another group...Arabs. It will go on forever in one form or another.
Rightness and wrongness doesn't matter It will not stop with the signing of
anything. Then another weakness will show...and so the cycle repeats itself.
