resolution. silly rabbit

Plus, four of the permanent members of the security council explicitly
would not approve of 1441 had it authorized use of force, which it did
not. In fact it specifically said another resolution would be necessary.
That resolution was what the Bush administration was peddling in March,
that France said they'd veto (not that it mattered because there weren't
enough votes in the security council anyway). Now if 1441 was enough to
go to war, then why would the Bushies be such pushers of another
resolution in order to get a use of force authorization?
