to return to DC to work" -- no, I read that only about 100 total members
were present today.
When I turned off C-Span yesterday afternoon, the vote in the Senate against
the Democrats on their Ohio stunt was 71 to 1, and the vote in the House,
which was still being taken, was already 200 and something against about 20
something. So there's 300+ members right there, plus as I said the count
was still being taken in the House.
What a sorry day that was for the Democrat Party, BTW!
