Re: Super-influential Jewish people |
That's the reason why rednecks neo-nazi & fascit nationalist
revisionists like Don B.Ocean and stupid mentally sick followers like
Heinrich the Dutch Baby cannot stand Jewish people, being totally
elated in their narcissistic paranoia. Please check the other threads
to this respect.
IMHO, Genius is basically independant from religion, race and
civilisation, it is more a matter of dedication, culture and hard work,
the kind of specificities the Jewish diaspora had to develop for over
2'000 years in order to survive, whilst others could just relax and
reap the benefits.

Probably you can't think of four other people in history who have had
more influence on our thinking (right or wrong) than four fantastically
influential Jews:
Jesus (or, anyhow, whoever wrote the New Testament),
Marx,
Freud, and
Einstein.
Also, coming forward toward more recent times, Jewish intellectual
leaders had enormous influence in affecting current opinions, to wit:
NBC was started by David Sarnoff and run by him with an iron hand, for
many decades.
CBS was started by William Paley. In spite of his Gentile-sounding
name, he was Jewish, and he ran CBS for decades.
Movie moguls in Hollywood have mostly been Jewish, even including the
present leadership of Disney.
The New York Times was started and run by Jews for many decades, and
their editorials are carefully read by the leadership of many
governments, publications, and other organiztions.
Presidents of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton Universities have been (or
still are) Jews.
No other ethnic group of this small size has had anything close to such
enormous influence.

Well I agree that it's not the religion. It's the tribal culture, which
arose from evolutionary selection for survival.
The religion is just a bunch of myths (really lies!) collected by King
Josiah's scribes and written in 620 BC. (See the books referred to at
http//oldnnew.blogspot.com .) Those myths had been scooped up from the
legends of the area, and most had already been written on clay tablets
at Ugarit, fully a thousand years before Josiah's scribes wrote them on
paper. (See "Ugarit" at
http://historylist.blogspot.com or in any good encyclopedia like
Britannia.)

Appreciating your insight. I feel that all religions are based upon a
lot of myths, which have been written down centuries upon their
supposed occurence, giving for generations of clerics enough
justification to split hairs to the infinite. Remains the fact that
certain religious currents have been more propecious for business than
others, e.g. Jews for finances, Quakers for industries.
In the end, we shall never discover the truth until we die, and then
only perhaps.
Churches and Governments have always in parrallel developed the knack
of turning reality / truth into a schedule of thoughts profitable for
them.
Some other people, having had an illumination do to some mental illness
do the same, e.g. Heinrich and Don Ocean, blinded by their hate against
Jews, based upon their terminal "Narcissistic Personality Disorder".

Yes, maybe I'll find out the truth about God (or gods) when I die.
(Which might not be an awfully long time from now, since I'm 75 ---
tho' still in good health.)
Altho I'm a (retired) scientist (half physicist, half chemist), I have
to admit that the more new physics I learn, the more I worry that it's
all rather spooky (quantum mechanics, stiring theory, latest
observations of distant galaxies). Can't be sure there's no God (or
gods), or that there is one (or several). Just not sure at all.

Don't worry, turn away from religion and science and go into Buddhism,
which is just a philosophy: everything you can see, feel, smell,
perceive with your senses, is just but an illusion.

Hi Dan, I appreciate that you specialised in ceramics. For my part, I
have worked mostly with AL2O3 from Kyocera and Djeva.

H. & D.--- Alumina is the greatest! I did my best work with tape cast
alumina "substrates" for thin (and thick) film circuits, and multilayer
IC "packages." Kyocera licensed (and sometimes stole) our technology,
but they did a truly great job. (Maybe you participated in that.) They
offered me a job, several times, but I stuck with Bell (until Rutgers
U. offered me tenure). Dan
