Federal and state taxes make your gallon of gas about $0.50 higher than it
has to be.
So? The gasoline taxes go to pave the roads on which you drive, fool.
And -- in the recent run-up of gas prices, TAXES HAVE NOT GONE UP. Taxes
have nothing to do with the escalation in gas prices.

he starts being willing to CUT THE TAXES on gasoline.
